David A. Weesner
Pastor Rev. David A. Weesner has been the pastor at Salem United Methodist Church since June of 2000. Before coming to Council Bluffs, Dave previously served Christ UMC in Belle Plaine for seven years, Faith UMC in Humboldt, Iowa for three years as an assoc. pastor, and Corydon Cooperative Parish in Corydon, Iowa for three years as a student pastor.
David and Cheryl were married in 1973 and have three sons who are married to three wonderful young women. They enjoy their eight grandchildren. |

Sean Pulatie
Manna Campus - Site Ministry Coordinator Sean was hired in June 2008 to lead the ministry and programming of Salem's 2nd campus, Manna. He graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in 2004 with an Associate's degree in Music and is currently finishing up his Bachelor's in English at Buena Vista University. Sean currently resides in Council Bluffs with his wife Rachel and his dog Jasmine. |

Amy Leeds
Assistant Director of Worship Amy Leeds is originally from Nebraska and has recently moved back after living in Boston, MA and New York City for the past 8 1/2 years. She graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a BA in K-12 Vocal Music Education. Prior to her move here to Salem she was the Assistant Music Director at First Baptist Church of Westfield, NJ, the choir director at St. Joseph's High School in Brooklyn, NY and she ran her own private voice and piano studio. |

Amy Krueger
Executive Administrator Amy is originally from Walnut, Iowa. She graduated from University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's degree in Public Administration. Amy has worked in the non-profit and government fields for many years as an administrator.
Her hobbies include knitting, reading and playing with her two cats, Elvis and Chica. Amy spends much of her time with her parents and two brothers. |
